MORE INDIGENOUS CHURCHES JOIN INKULULEKO YESIZWE
Yesterday in Johannesburg, a newly formed Association, Inkululeko Yesizwe, witnessed the signing-in of new members from different indigenous churches spread across Ekurhuleni and Gauteng.
Thirty-three (33) Bishops and Church Leaders pledged their support to the Association that aims to uphold, promote and protect the ideals and values of African beliefs.

“It was indeed a momentous day for us because the attendance was way beyond our expectations since only 20 churches had confirmed but to our pleasant surprise more church leaders attended,” said�the Chairperson of Inkululeko Yesizwe, Dr Prophet Samuel Radebe.
Radebe said yesterday’s event was testimony to the fact that a gap existed in the religious sector for an organization that will advocate for the restoration of the dignity of indigenous spiritual leaders, including African beliefs and values.

Also, the chairperson said the Association was going to strive to provide spiritual direction and mentorship to its members through leadership training programs.
Furthermore, Dr. Prophet Radebe emphasized the importance of true radical transformation of the landscape of our indigenous spiritual churches which will be driven by real and value adding socio-economic empowerment projects that will immediately define a realistic and sustainable upward mobility of church leaders and by extension communities they serve.

Inkululeko Yesizwe was established to enable a dialogue in which its members embrace a common purpose to gradually and meaningfully uphold the distinctive features of the morality of leadership, while promoting universal acceptance and acknowledgment of indigenous and spiritual churches, traditional healers including practices and values of Ubuntu unashamedly.
The Official launch of Inkululeko Yesizwe will take place on the 26th May 2018 at the DOME in Randburg.
